Gender: female
Breed: mix of German Shorthaired Pointer and likely Montenegrin Mountain Hound
Weight: 25kg/55cm

Character: Kira was born in the shelter together with her siblings. Their mother is a German Shorthaired Pointer, who lovingly cared for her puppies. The siblings grew up together and are therefore well socialized. Kira spends most of her time playing with her sisters.
Kira is familiar with cats and chickens and is an open, friendly dog. Due to her breed, she is very athletic and needs plenty of physical activity. Regular sporting activities such as agility, flyball, or scent work would be ideal to keep her physically and mentally stimulated. An active family with children would also be a great fit, as she is very people-oriented. Kira is the most playful of all her siblings and shows great confidence when interacting with other dogs. She has a natural dominant demeanor but she isn’t aggressive. We strongly recommend attending a good dog training school.
Kira is looking forward to finding a loving forever home where she can stay for good.

Story: Kira was born as one of ten puppies to a wonderful mother in a small Serbian village. Since their mama quickly won the hearts of the local people, the puppies were born in a large dog house, safe and protected. The neighbors came together to help, and both the mother and her puppies were well cared for.
Unfortunately, there were also some cruel people who threatened to report them to the state-run dog shelter – a place known as a kind of “dog prison.” That’s when we received urgent calls for help, and we didn’t hesitate – we immediately brought the little family to safety.
